Rob Childs heads the Professional Services team at IMQS Software, a role he has held since September 2018. A former infrastructure engineer, Rob brings extensive experience across Southern Africa, the Middle East, the Far East and the UK. He’s a strong advocate for better asset management practices, particularly in the water sector, and has co‑authored infrastructure asset‑management guides that serve both national and international organisations .
Rob is a board member of World Partners in Asset Management (WPIAM) and a council member at the South African Asset Management Association (SAAMA), contributing expert insight on governance, data quality and digital transformation for infrastructure custodians .

Gustav van der Westhuizen heads the Product Management function at IMQS Software. With over 15 years of experience in enterprise software and GIS-based product strategy, he plays a pivotal role in guiding the direction of IMQS’s infrastructure asset management solutions .

Caroline van Heerden serves as Team Lead for Asset Management Engineering at IMQS, based in Cape Town. Since joining the company, she has played a central role in developing and delivering infrastructure asset management frameworks, data strategies and digital transformation solutions for municipal and industrial clients across South Africa. Her leadership spans working with maintenance readiness, CAPEX/OPEX analytics, and ensuring alignment with ISO 55001 and GFMAM standards .
Caroline began her professional journey with a Bachelor’s in Mechatronic Engineering and started her career at Transnet Port Terminals. At IMQS, she quickly progressed into the field of asset management engineering, earning certification under the Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) scheme by World Partners in Asset Management (grade valid from 2017 to 2026) .

Jaco Vosloo leads the Software Engineering team at IMQS Software, having held this leadership position since December 2016. Jaco began his career in academia as a Junior Lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch in 2003, transitioning to enterprise software in 2005 when he joined IMQS as a Senior Developer. Shemine Adams serves as the HR Manager at IMQS Software, where she oversees the operational and administrative systems that underpin the organisation’s delivery of infrastructure asset management solutions. With more than 15 years’ experience in administration, client service and office management, Shemine plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficiency, governance and seamless client engagement across IMQS’s projects.
Shemine began her career as a Warehouse Clerk at Ball Straathof, before moving into office management at the Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA). She joined IMQS in 2008 as an Admin Assistant, later advancing to Client Services Administrator, and was appointed Administration Manager in 2018. This career progression reflects her deep institutional knowledge of IMQS and her ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a technology-driven business.
She holds a Senior Secondary qualification in Administration and Business Management from Boston City Campus & College and has developed a strong professional skill set spanning Microsoft Office, customer service, managerial finance and administrative policy implementation.
